有些考生以為grown是復合名詞的中心詞，其復數形式應該在grown后面加-s；另一方面認為responsibility是不可數名詞，沒有復數形式，從而錯選B。其實，grown-up沒有中心名詞，其復數形式應該在up后面加-s；同時根據語境可知，responsibility指義務，該單詞作“義務，職責”講時，是可數名詞，故正確答案選C。
